Program Fees
Indralaya Program fees cover all program, accommodation and meal costs for the program duration.
Rates at Indralaya generally cover 70% of our actual expenses. We hope this makes program participation more accessible to more people. Our goal each year is to cover the remainder with donations, memberships, and investment income.
You can help Indralaya meet this goal through membership and donations!
Daily Staff
Want to be on Daily Staff and exchange some work for a discounted rate?
Choose the “Daily Staff” option during registration and we’ll apply a discount to your invoice. You’ll work 3 hours per day on each full day of programming, usually split into two 1.5 hour sessions. The kitchen and garden are usual work spots, although sometimes special projects or your unique skills could offer other options. Available to anyone 13 or older.
Accommodations
The accommodations listed here apply to the programs and workshops offered at Indralaya. Cabin rentals or camping are not available to the general public.
PLUMBING CABINS:
There are several plumbing cabins that vary in size and amenities. All include a shower, sink, and toilet. Some of the plumbing cabins have multiple bedrooms with private space. When camp is full, there is a possibility that unrelated parties will share these cabins (separate bedrooms, shared bathrooms and other amenities)
ROUNDHOUSE:
The Roundhouse has seven sleeping rooms with shared use of 2.5 bathrooms and a common area with a kitchenette. Rooms are both double and single occupancy.
NON-PLUMBING CABINS:
Most of our cabins are simple, rustic, and warmed with wood burning stoves or electric heat. They share the use of a nearby bathhouse. Non-plumbing sleeping cabins vary in size and can accommodate an average of 2 to 4 guests.
TENTS & RVS/TRAILERS:
Bring your own camping gear and tent in the meadow. There are a few spots for small RV parking, depending on the size of your vehicle. Access to electricity and a nearby bathhouse is available.
Accommodation Notes:
- We attempt to honor all requests for cabin types (plumbing/non plumbing/ Roundhouse/RV/Tent) and occupancy. We do not take requests for specific cabins. Although we make a sincere attempt to do so, we may not always be able to accommodate your first request.
- Cabins are assigned on the basis of special need, party size, and cabin type requested.
- If you are registering for a couple and would like a shared bed, please make a note of that during your registration. Rates remain per person.
- There is no charge for children age 5 and under. We do request that you register children under 5 so your housing assignment will include them.
Bedding Options
Linen packages are available in limited quantity for $40/bed. Package includes sheets, pillows, blankets, and towels for one person. Additional pillows are $5; additional towel sets are $5.
Cancellation Policy:
There is a fee of $50 for cancellations up to 2 weeks before the program start, and $100 if within two weeks of the program start.
If a program is cancelled or is already full at the time you register, your full deposit will be refunded.
Need extra support for yourself?
Tent camping with your own gear or sleeping in a non-plumbing cabin are good ways to economize, especially if you sign up for Daily Staff.
Choose the Daily Staff option during registration to exchange 3 hours of work for a discounted registration rate.
Financial Assistance is also available by application.
The financial assistance offered is up to a $100 discount on the fee. We encourage those applying for financial assistance to choose the daily staff option and non-plumbing housing, health permitting.
Please submit the application form below, checking the boxes after the questions for yes. We’ll contact you soon regarding your application status.
Applicants who are unable to work on daily staff or stay in non-plumbing accommodations will be notified of approval, based on available space, 3 weeks prior to the date of your desired program.
